This Service is operated by BlueBlox GmbH (hereafter “BlueBlox”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using our Service, you (“User”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”), our Privacy Policy, and any other legal notices or disclaimers contained within our Service. If you do not agree to any part of these T&Cs, your only recourse is to stop using the Service immediately. These T&Cs govern your access to, and use of the Service and any content, functionality, or services offered on or through the Service.
2. Service Description
The Trade Repository provides a unique aggregation of research, data, and insights specifically tailored for entities engaged in international trade.
Our Service encompasses a wide array of information including high-level country profiles, details on governmental authorities, required shipping documents, procedures for import and export, and relevant legislation and regulations for trading within each covered country.Furthermore, the Service offers exclusive, copyrighted trade insights and practical guidelines designed to aid in trade operations.
It is important to note that these insights and guidelines are provided as-is, without warranty, and BlueBlox assumes no liability for their application or use in decision-making processes.
2.1 Service Package Types:
The Service offers four distinct service package types:
- Single Country Package:
Provides access to trade information for one specific country of your choice.
- Regional Packages:
Provides access to trade information for a subset of pre-selected countries based on a defined region.
- All Countries Package:
Provides access to trade information for all countries included in the system.
- Customised Packages:
Provides access to trade information for a combination of countries, based on a selection of your choice.
2.2 Service Subscription Plans:
The Service offers three distinct service subscription plans with varying levels of access:
- Operational Plan
Grants access to the following modules:- Country Information
- International Organisations
- Memberships
- Authorities
- Shipping Documents
- Legislative Plan
Grants access to the following modules, in additional to the modules included in the Operational Plan:- Procedures

2.3 Technical Support:
For issues related to system access and technical support, which are included in all packages and plans, the Customer Support Team may be contacted via email at tr-support@blueblox.ch or through the “help desk” function accessible via the “Need Help?” feature. The Customer Support Team is available to assist with the resolution of technical difficulties and to facilitate the proper functioning of the system.
2.4 Advisory Support:
The Advisory Support as featured within the Advisory Plan is defined as “the provision of general guidance and/or answers to questions based on information available within the Service or Platform”.

Advisory Support is Limited to the Practical Guidelines provided in the Platform.
- Regional Packages:
Offers up to 20 mins* per month of Advisory Support, via Teams.
Based on the Practical Guidelines available in the Platform
- Customised Package:
Offers up to 120 mins* per month of Advisory Support, via Teams.
Based on the Practical Guidelines available in the Platform
- All Countries Package:
Offers up to 120 mins* per month of Advisory Support, via Teams.

2.6 Advisory Support Requests
Users may request Advisory Support by submitting their request to schedule a Teams Meeting. Requests can be made via email at tr-support@blueblox.ch or through the “help desk” feature accessible via the “Need Help?” function

Support received via Advisory Support does not constitute Trade Consulting or Legal Advice, as the scope of the general guidance provided through the Advisory Support service is limited to the information provided through and available within the Service or Platform.
3. Subscription Terms and Termination
- The Service is offered through subscription plans which are available on a monthly or annual basis, according to the preference of the User.
- BlueBlox and the User enter into an Agreement once the T&C’s have been accepted, either through the signup procedures on our Platform or through a written agreement between the BlueBlox and the User.
- Monthly Subscriptions will automatically extend for successive terms of one billing period at a time. Users with a Monthly Subscription have the flexibility to cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation will result in the termination of access to the Service from the start of the next billing period.
- Annual Subscriptions will automatically create a Commitment Period of 1 year from the date of subscription. Upon the conclusion of the Commitment Period, the Subscription will automatically extend for a successive term of 1 year.
- During the Commitment Period, the User with an Annual Subscription, shall not possess the right to terminate the Subscription or lower the subscription level during the Commitment Period.
- Cancellation of all Annual Subscriptions will be subject to a 30 days’ notice prior to the expiration of the then current term and will result in the termination of access to the Service from the start of the next billing period.
4. User Responsibilities
- By using the Trade Repository Service or Platform, Users agree to utilize the Service and its content for lawful purposes and in compliance with these T&Cs. The Service is intended for use as a resource to aid in understanding and navigating international trade processes.
- Users acknowledge that the Service does not constitute Trade Consulting or Legal Advice. Any decision made based on information from the Service is the sole responsibility of the User.
- Users are expected to conduct their own due diligence and consult with trade consultants or legal advisors as necessary before making business decisions based on information obtained from the Service.
- Users who subscribe to the Advisory Plan agree that the Advisory Support provided through the Platform is limited to general guidance and answers to questions based on information readily available within the Service or Platform and does not substitute for Trade Consulting services or Legal Advice.
Users seeking in-depth Trade Consulting, Trade Mediation, Trade Performance and/or Importer of Record Advisory Support, can enter into a separate agreement with BlueBlox. These services, are not part of the standard Service or Platform offering, but can be made available to Users through entering into a separate Trade Services Agreement with BlueBlox. 5. Limitation of Liability
- BlueBlox provides the Service “as is” and makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation, relevance, correctness, timeliness, accuracy or applicability of the Service or the information, content, materials, or products included in the Service.
- To the full extent permissible by applicable law, BlueBlox disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- BlueBlox will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Service, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages. This limitation of liability is a fundamental element of the basis of the bargain between BlueBlox and the User.
6. Disclaimer for third-party Websites
The Trade Repository contains links to third-party websites for your convenience; however, their inclusion does not constitute endorsement by BlueBlox. BlueBlox is not responsible and shall not be held liable for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these external websites, as BlueBlox do not guarantee the functionality, accuracy, or error-free nature of the links provided. Users acknowledge and accept the risks involved when accessing third-party websites and shall review the terms and conditions of any such websites they visit.
7. Data Use and Protection
BlueBlox is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our Users’ data in accordance with the highest standards of data protection, including compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for Users within the European Union and applicable Swiss data protection laws.
User data collected through the Service will be used solely for the purpose of improving and personalizing the Service offering. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information. 8. Amendments and Termination
BlueBlox reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any part thereof at any time and without notice. Furthermore, BlueBlox may revise these T&Cs from time to time to reflect changes to the law or changes to our Service. We will attempt to provide reasonable notice of any major changes, but it is the responsibility of the User to review these T&Cs periodically for any changes.
Your continued use of the Service following the posting of revised T&Cs means that you accept and agree to the changes. BlueBlox also reserves the right to terminate a User’s access to the Service for any breach of these T&Cs, including but not limited to, unauthorized use of our content or failure to comply with subscription terms.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These T&Cs and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.
Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these T&Cs or the Service shall be instituted exclusively in the federal courts of Switzerland, although BlueBlox retains the right to bring any suit, action, or proceeding against a User for breach of these T&Cs in the User’s country of residence or any other relevant country. Users waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over them by such courts and to venue in such courts.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BlueBlox, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against all losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from any violation of these T&Cs or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the Service using your Internet account.
This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of your Service use and these T&Cs. This section is designed to protect BlueBlox and its stakeholders from legal claims and expenses that arise from Users’ misuse of the Service or violation of these T&Cs.
